'Beast Hunters'In late 2011, the SyFy channel picked up a pitch by Jonathan Craven. The pitch detailed him and his crew, which consisted of Elizabeth Davis, Terra Williams, Donnie Miller, and Michael Anderson, on a paranormal investigation show, similar to "Ghost Hunters" or "Destination Truth". The show was to be called "Beast Hunters", and the premiere episode was to hunt after the Hearteater. Poundcakes. The episode was filmed, but never released. The team found what they were looking for.'Beast Hunters' by razorsprites
The footage begins with someone fiddling with the camera, eventually pulling up to Jonathan, outside of a forest, who appears impatient. Jonathan remarks "Come on, Don, I haven't got all day!" in a very clearly annoyed attitude. Donnie, behind the camera, apologizes, and then presumably gives the signal to begin. John begins speaking, and is now putting on a fake Australian accent. "Hello, viewers, and welcome to Beast Hunters! In our very first adventure into the dangerous worl
InterviewThe following is a transcribed text from a police interview involving an anonymous victim, who had been in a car crash, killing 7 people and wounding 8. He was found gripping the wheel in a very frantic state, rambling about monsters in the shadows.Interview by razorsprites
OFFICER: Now, can you tell us what happened? From the beginning, please.
VICTIM: I..[He hesitates]..I was driving home last night. From out of state, I was visiting family. Everything was normal, until I got out of the main roads. There were no cars on the road at all. The sun had set by this time, so I had my headlights on. I saw these eyes in the trees, but I just assumed it was my mind playing tricks on me. I just kept driving. I kept seeing them, though. It eventually started to worry me. There were no cars around, so I just drove a bit faster than I should have. I was freaked out. I had to press on, though. I kept looking for another main road, but I never seemed to find one. I think I was driving in cir
WoodsThe following was sent in by one who wishes to remain anonymous. I believe the story speaks for itself.Woods by razorsprites
"Me and a few friends, there were only 5 of us total, went camping a few days ago. There was me, Jack, Jennifer, Bobby, and Phil. It was just supposed to be a fun night, but this thing just attacked. It came out of nowhere let me start at the beginning. We arrived at the woods at around 11, at night. We're not exactly supposed to be there, so we went during the night. We set up camp, made a fire, and just sat around telling stories. Eyeless Jack, Mr. Trust, Smile Dog, Mr. Widemouth, The Rake, etc. When one of us, Jack, just starts going on about something he saw in the woods. We think he's trying to pull some kind of joke on us, but he eventually convinces us to go. We walked around for maybe 35 minutes, finding nothing. Just when we're about to turn around and head back, Jack starts screaming about two glowing orbs in the trees. Now we're REALLY sure he's j
The NoteThe following was sent in by an anonymous source, in the form of a crinkled paper, seemingly ripped from a notebook. The writing was sloppy and, at times, difficult to read. There were stains of blood on the paper that have obscured certain parts. It has been transcribed the best I could. The Note by razorsprites
[streak of blood obscuring the first few words] alive right now [blood] hurts so much.
It's watching me, I know it. I can feel it. It knows I'm writing this. And it knows I know.
And that makes it angry. It's [blood, word is presumably "watch"]ing me, I can see it now.
It's staring back at me. Mocking me. It has something in it's hands it looks like [blood]!
Oh God, no...It vanished. I can't find it, I don't know where it
The message presumably ends there. The rest of the paper is encased in dried blood, and the T in "it" trails off erratically. As much as it worries, and presumably endangers, me..I am going to look for more info on this. Case Designate: Heart Eater.
